Richard Selby served on the original distribution committee of Adams County Foundation in 1985 and was committed to the Community Foundation and its work.
When his mother Mary Selby passed away in 2016, he decided to open this fund with memorial gifts received in her memory. Today, the Shelby Fund supports a wide range of Littlestown nonprofits including St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Alpha Fire Company. Each year a portion of the fund is distrbuted through the Fund for Littlestown to address unmet community need.
