The Founding Board of Directors created this fund in 2007 to honor the founder of the Adams County Community Foundation, Jack Phillips.
Established in 1985 as a result of an initiative of the Gettysburg Rotary Club, the Adams County Foundation began with $300,000 in assets. Through Phillips' leadership, the Foundation reorganized in 2007, becoming Adams County Community Foundation to better serve Adams County.
This fund sustains the Community Foundation year after year.
