Berne C. Hart attended Biglerville High School as a young man. Unable to afford college, he dropped out of school and joined the U.S. Marine Corps which took him on three tours of duty in Vietnam.
Seeing talent and potential in this young man, the Marines helped Berne get his education. He became a successful attorney in the field of aviation law. His loving sister Dolores Druckenmiller established this scholarship to encourage Biglerville High School students enrolling in a technical school for post-secondary education leading to employment.
