At its May 30, 2018 Annual Meeting, the Adams County Community Foundation announced that it received a bequest of $1.1 million from the Estate of Richard “Dick” Selby to support community nonprofits and programs in Littlestown.

The gift will be added to the Bernard, Mary and Richard Selby Family Memorial Fund.

Dick was from Littlestown and served on the original grant making committee of Adams County Foundation, the predecessor of today’s Adams County Community Foundation.

Each year the Selby Family Memorial Fund will award grants to three Littlestown Area nonprofits and support community groups that benefit the greater Littlestown area through the Community Foundation’s Fund for Greater Littlestown.
